$39 - Our regular hourly rate, rounded up to the nearest 1/4 hour when
$29 - Our minimum / bench / diagnostic labor fee is charged if you
decline the repair or if the unit is uneconomical to repair.
$15 - Travel / purchasing / procurement labor.
$59 - Emergency same-day service / or emergency data recovery, when
possible and available.
In order to maximize speed and
reduce cost, we have five guidelines:
Drop off and pickup at the UPS Store
location. There is a small form to fill out. There is a $15
pickup/delivery charge if you want us to pick it up.
Drop off only the CPU. No cables, monitors,
keyboards, mice, etc.
(Sorry, no Macs.) If you have a
laptop, include the power cube.
Please indicate all items
you are including on the drop-off form.
We will contact you by phone or fax with an estimate for your approval
before we begin.
We also will request a do-not-repair maximum in case we
find other problems while making repairs. If you decline the repair, you may either pay a bench charge of $29 or
(at our discretion) give us the failed unit for parts.
For maximum fairness to both company and client,
replacement parts (new & used) are listed AT COST (or estimated
plus purchase/ travel/ procurement labor fee of $15.
nor Bronte` Designs warranty any parts. All part warranty is
with the manufacturer or retailer it was purchased from.
We will need your Windows CD & install code, plus
any Dell, Gateway ,etc., recovery CD/DVDs. We will need your
password to login. For security, you can
temporarily change your password before you give it to us
and change it back when we are done.
Please make sure (1) you have a backup of your
data and (2) all your program installation disks. Reasons:
(1) We will do our best to recover your programs and data,
but some types of damage may make some or all data
(2) In the event we have to reinitialize your hard disk, we
will need to reinstall your programs and that will require
By submitting my PC for repair either by electronic form or by paper
form submitted at the drop-off point, I agree
to take responsibility for
my data and programs installed on my PC. In the process of repair, even
with proper care
and precautions, data can be lost. I have either good
backups or can recover my important data myself.
I hold Depot338,
Bronte` Designs and their owners or employees not responsible for any
data loss. In return for
being provided replacement or repair parts at
cost, I agree that all warranty on any parts is the responsibility
the manufacturer or retail provider. I further agree that, in the even
of loss (caused by damage, accident,
shipping, or negligence or any
other cause), the financial responsibility of Depot338, Bronte` Designs
their owners or employees is limited to the total dollar amount paid
to Depot338 or Bronte` Designs.
